We strive to make our products in a way that protects the environment, giving value to our customers and supporting our employees and artists. We insure all of our manufacturing processes protect our earth, air and water by using environmentally friendly water-based inks and dyes.
Our Dye Oxidation System purifies our manufacturing process waste water by removing color and additives without the addition of any chemicals. Because our process does not rely on the use of chemicals, it does not create dead water that has been stripped of its’ oxygen. Rather, it does the opposite in that the final product is enriched with oxygen which works together with the micro-organisms that are used in our local city water treatment facility. By using our unique system, we help the environment and also help our employees and their families here in USA, while other t-shirt companies move offshore to find cheap labor and relaxed environmental regulations.
Many t-shirt companies and printers use solvent based inks made primarily of plastic (petroleum) that have a rough feel and contain toxic phthalates. For many years now we have used water based inks and have perfected our system to create photo-realistic imagery that is not attainable by other screen printers.
We are proud to say more than 80% of the cotton in our shirts is grown right here in the USA. The organic reactive dyes we use help create our dye library now with over 800 colors. What separates our t-shirts from the rest, is how soft to the touch our prints are. Over 99% of other t-shirt printers use petroleum based ink to create their designs on clothing. Our t-shirts are 100% preshrunk cotton (even the thread that holds them together is made of cotton). If you wash your shirt according to our label instructions, in cold water, not only will your shirt stay at the same size as when you purchased it, but the print will also remain vibrant for many years!
